Today, the Supreme Court passed down a decision that stated that previous civil rights cases are inclusive of the LGBTQIA+ communities. Basically, this means that members of the LGBTQIA community cannot be fired from their jobs because of their identity. Which is a big step for the LGBTQIA+ community during this Pride Month. 

In honor of both the SCOTUS decision and Pride month here is some fun and funky fresh queer content to watch for your Virtual Pride celebrations. 

Alex Strangelove– high school senior Alex Truelove navigates friends, dating, and his sexuality all while trying to apply to college and be a “normal” high school senior

The L Word– The classic long-running series follows a group of Lesbians and Bisexuals in Los Angeles as they date, hook up, break up, question their sexuality and just go through a whole lotta feelings all at once.

BPM (beats per minute)– Nathan, a young man in the 1990’s, attends AIDS activist meetings in Paris. Only to find out that some of the people he is meeting with prefer a more active approach when it comes to their activism.

The Miseducation of Cameron Post– After she is caught in the backseat of a car with the Prom Queen, Cameron Post is subjected to questionable Gay Conversion Therapy. Follow her journey with her fellow residents as they pretend to go along with what’s happening and get out of there that much faster.

Love Victor– A spinoff show of Love Simon, Victor is in a new city, a new high school, and has to come to terms with his sexual orientation.

Rocketman — A biopic following the life of Elton John and his rise to fame and power.
