“What’s Your Favorite Scary Movie?” Fans Celebrate Return of Scream Franchise
It is the wonderful time of year again where the classic horror slasher flicks are playing around the clock. One of them being the iconic Scream Franchise by the magnificent mind who also brought us A Nightmare on Elm Street Series, Wes Craven. The 25th anniversary of Wes Craven’s ‘Scream’ Franchise will be celebrated on October 10th by having the first original Scream premiere in select theatres.
Is there going to be a Scream 5?
If you are a fan of horror and Wes Craven (1939-2015) you probably know that, yes, there will be another Scream film to enjoy. Scream 5 will premiere on January 14th, 2022 where, as usual, Ghostface is the center of it all keeping audiences captivated with who will be next and who will survive.
The Scream franchise set the stage for horror in a way where it pointed out all the cliche tidbits that make a standard horror flick, acknowledging it in a way that reshaped those same thrills making it that much scarier. The new film is not reportedly following the ones before exactly, but much like remakes like Halloween 2018, it will be creating a set of new series of films. Don’t fret too much, most of the original cast will be coming back to the eerie town of Woodsboro. That’s right so we will be seeing our beloved characters like Office Dewey Riley (David Arquette), the hate/love journalist Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox), and of course, your favorite final girl Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell).

The one who follows every horror slasher set of rules, the one who doesn’t think much about it and continues living their life, are you the final girl, or are you the killer?
You can even have a Scream marathon in the very same house where they filmed the very first ‘Scream.’ It was turned into an Airbnb for a limited time!
