VIDEO: The Rock Records Video For Mother Who Died In Car Crash

The accident which took three lives — including that of a mother and daughter, Aileen Pizarro and her 12 year old daughter — was a senseless tragedy. The accident grabbed headlines for its involvement of the YouTuber Trecor Heitmann aka McSkillet, who was driving 100 mph on the wrong side of the road and thus causing it, and it’s important to remember the people involved. Angelo Pizarro , the son of Aileen Pizarro, is currently mourning his mother and has reached out to The Rock to do a recording for her funeral.

My beautiful mom who passed away loved @TheRock so so SO much. I’m trying to get him to do even a video saying her name for the funeral. If you could retweet the crap outta this for him to see it that’d mean the world. Thank you! pic.twitter.com/ypr4ZJzMxw

Thanks to everyone who’s retweeted and liked. My mom and sister both passed away on Thursday in a horrific car crash and even if Mr. Johnson can’t be reached the outpouring of love means the world thank you all so much again pic.twitter.com/YTQtzM3UEk

The Tweet shows a photo of Aileen Pizarro sweetly pouting at a photo of The Rock on a poster of Skyscraper, with the message: “My beautiful mom who passed away loved @TheRock so so SO much. I’m trying to get him to do even a video saying her name for the funeral. If you could retweet the crap outta this for him to see it that’d mean the world. Thank you!” The Tweet did indeed go viral, and indeed, as Angelo later revealed, the Rock proved that the fandom that Aileen Pizarro had for him was worthwhile by recording a video, and DMing it to Angelo.

WE DID IT! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG pic.twitter.com/gD0dIwhJQz

@TheRock THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR. I hope everyone knows how amazing you are. I can’t stop smiling knowing she’s smiling so much. Just, thank you. And again thank you to every single person who viewed my post (now over a million). pic.twitter.com/tQisyRGgVT

Angelo then thanked The Rock/ Dwayne Johnson, everyone whose retweets made it happen, and then tried to get Alessia Cara to record a message for his sister’s funeral. Alessia Cara responded that she sent Angelo a message in his DMs.

If we could use the audience from this tweet to also get @alessiacara to do a message for my sister. That’d mean so so much. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/02AHFpEw3K

The video was posted online later on through the day, where we can see The Rock giving a heartfelt message, at one point wiping away the tear, and promising that Aileen Pizarro can see them now. It’s a beautiful video, showing The Rock giving love to his fans where other celebrities may have ignored the call.

Our thoughts are with the victims of the accident.
