Usher Apparently Paid Dancers in “Usher Cash” and The Dancers are Upset

If you read that headline, you are probably wondering what “Usher” cash is. The dancers at a club recently visited by hip-hop artist, Usher, are also wondering the same thing. An exotic dancer who performed for Usher looked at the cash she had been given by the singer and discovered it was counterfeit money with Usher’s face stamped on the front of each bill. The dancer, who goes by @beel0ve on Instagram, shared the pictures of the fake bills ranging from $1-100, and each one read ‘Usherworld.com.’

Along with the pictures, the dancer had a few words to discuss the frustrating matter. She captioned the story posts with “So Disrespectful, This is Foul! Working so hard to get nothing in return! This is a joke!!” In a story post that followed, she continued with, “& the money does not have a trade in value what so ever! Don’t y’all think he should be blasted on social media for this sh*t.”

Could you imagine be skimped by an A-list celebrity?

The fake cash is so cringe-y to look at, and we would be just as frustrated as she is if this is the payment we received, especially from a well-established celebrity.

Twitter Cannot Deal

When Twitter got ahold of the news of “Usher” cash, there were mixed reactions all around, mostly ranging from anger and frustration to memes.

This Twitter user pulled a snip of a video from one of Usher’s songs and wrote, “Strippers getting a call from the bank telling them not a single bill from Usher was real.”

@Rbrbreyes on Twitter pulled this scene from Spongebob, where it seems Usher must have gotten his inspiration from.

Herbo shared this part of “The Office,” and you just have to watch it. This is hilarious.

This user posted a pic of P-Diddy staring at some cash with the caption, “Is that Usher?” referring to when the women found the cash to be fake. We would be ~fuming~.

Exotic dancers deserve respect and fair payment for their services. We hope that Usher has paid them in light of being put on blast on social media. Working in an environment like a club during a pandemic is already difficult, but then to be paid in worthless money? That is immensely disrespectful.

What do you think? Did the memes make you laugh, too? Do you think this was a publicity stunt? Let us know in the comments!
