Seven short years ago, the world lost an icon when actor, Paul Walker, when he was killed in a car crash in Los Angeles at the age of 40. Walker was an undeniable presence in Hollywood, most famous for his role in The Fast and Furious film franchise as well Hours, Joy Ride, and Into The Blue. The actor participated in over 35 films in his career before it was cut short on that fateful day in November 2013. Fans and celebs alike mourned his death, with the Fast and Furious franchise even including old footage of Walker in the latest Fast and Furious movie to honor his memory and work.

November 30th every year reminds Paul Walker’s fans about the actor’s incredible career. Now seven years later, people continue to mourn and took to Twitter today to celebrate his life.

Paul Walker’s name was trending all day on November 30th with fans dedicating posts to him.

Celebrities Mourn As Well

One of the most notable actors from the Fast and Furious franchise is Vin Diesel who appeared to have a close relationship with Walker and posted this on his Instagram on the anniversary:

Diesel captured the photo, “Seven years…Not a day passes…All love, Always.” A simple statement that captured the emotions Diesel must be feeling today.

Ludacris, rapper and Fast and Furious actor, posted to his Instagram this picture of Paul with the caption “7 years.”

Jordana Brewster played Walker’s love interest on the Fast and The Furious, and remembered him today with this Instagram post with the simple caption “7 years:”

Paul Walker left behind a fourteen year old daughter when he died, Meadow Walker. Meadow is now 21 years old and posted this sweet tribute to her late father, “a silly day to remember in sadness. today’s a celebration of the love and happiness you brought to the world. here’s a photo of my best bud & I napping,” with an old picture of the two cuddled up and Meadow laying on her late dad’s chest.

Paul Walker’s memory lives on in the minds and hearts of those who loved him and his work. The impact he left in Hollywood and on fans will forever be remembered in his movies and philanthropy. His disaster-relief non profit, Reach Out Worldwide still stands to serve communities struck by disasters to this day.
