Viral TikTok Video Exposes How Subway Steak Is Actually Made

It’s official, another fast food restaurant has been ruined for devoted customers after finding out how the food is actually repaired. TikTok user @travis2official._ posted a video on his account showing how Subway actually prepares its popular steak option.

In the behind the scenes video we see Travis  opening up a plastic package that contains a solid brick of meat.

“Just to let y’all know how subway steak looks. Behind closed doors,” Travis wrote.

The employee dumps the package into a metal preparing bowl, showing the compressed meat in its natural form, which looks unrecognizable from steak.

He then crumbles the steak apart with his gloved hands.

The viral TikTok currently has more than 7.9 views and 1.1 million likes, and many people have different opinions on the exposure of Subways food preparation.

Multiple people have expressed their disgust towards the restaurant after seeing the video.

“Wouldn’t even feed that to my dog,” one user commented.

“TikTok ruins fast food for me,” another user said.

While on the other hand, some users are not phased about the discovery and say they will continue to eat at Subway.

“Ya’ll expect them to have a cow in the back?” a user asked defending the restaurant.

“Idgaf it tastes good,” another commenter wrote.

After the success of the video, Travis has posted two more videos showing how Subway tuna is made and how they prepare teriyaki chicken.

Although the Subway steak video received an incredible amount of attention, the focus on the latest two videos have directed towards the TikToker not wearing his mask correctly.

“Subway workers never have their masks on right,” a commenter wrote regarding the Subway tuna video.

“How to wear your mask right should be the next video,” another user commented regarding the ongoing series of Subway exposure.

However, this is not the first time that employees have exposed what actually goes on in the kitchen in fast food restaurants. It has actually become a trend on the platform for employees to show viewers what they are actually ordering. Places that have been exposed are chains such as McDonalds and Taco Bell.
