This TikToker’s Roommate Ate Her Ice Cream Even Though He Was Allergic. Now TikTok Believes She Intentionally Poisoned Him
In a recent TikTok, creator Nessie, @lochnessofficial, says that she bought almond icecream to deter her roommate, allergic to almonds, from eating her ice cream. She says that he ate it anyway, and then called her toxic for doing so. The video, which now has almost 200 hundred thousand likes and over two thousand comments, is being debated on if Nessie did anything illegal. She continues to explain that it was icecream that said it had almonds in it and was even almond-flavored. She says that she did not buy the ice cream hoping he would eat it and be sick, she bought it so that he would not eat it.

In one comment, someone accuses her of trying to intentionally poison him. She says that she would like to clear this up, and notes that she was not trying to kill him, she was trying to stop him from eating her ice cream. She notes that she bought a flavor she liked and knew he was allergic to, thinking he would not eat it, and was very surprised to learn that he did eat it. Many of the comments agreed that Nessie did not intentionally poison someone, as doing it intentionally would be hiding the fact that the ice cream was a flavor he was allergic to.
The creator can not stress enough that the ice cream was not non-dairy flavored ice cream, but “almond brittle” flavored, so that the word “almond” was clear in view. Though some believe she did not commit a crime, commenters believed that what she did was toxic, as the roommate said.
Other commenters, however, were on Nessie’s side and said that the person should not have been eating her ice cream in the first place. Others brought up the fact that people live with others who have allergies all the time and bring the allergen into the house. For example, if someone was allergic to dairy milk, and a roommate buys some, it would not be their fault if the person used it and became sick. Many also thought that this was an example of why you should not eat anyone else’s food, especially if you might be allergic to it.
