Sources Claim Sam Asghari Would Disappear for ‘Months At a Time’ Toward End of Marriage with Britney Spears

New reports have come in claiming that Sam Asghari would disappear for months in his relationship with Britney Spears. More details have been brewing since the divorce news broke to the public. 

Last Wednesday, it was confirmed that Sam Asghari and Britney Spears had filed for divorce just 14 months of marriage and six years together in total. Though the exact reason for the split has been unclear, TMZ alleged that the couple filed for divorce due to Asghari’s claim of cheating by his wife. A source later denied that infidelity was the allegation. 

Reports had not been confirmed about the cheating, but there have been plenty of inside sources speaking out to suggest that the pair were not seeing eye to eye as of late.

A source told People Magazine, “It’s been very toxic for a long time. There has been constant drama. It’s sad.”

And now one insider claims that the couple spent a lot of time apart as their marriage began to fall apart. One source told Page Six as of late that Britney Spears began to feel disappointed when Sam would stop spending as much time with her. 

The source stated, “Of course she feels let down…anyone would when your partner is not providing for you in the way you feel you need to be provided for. She booked great, high-end vacations and paid for everything; they went everywhere on private jet. But he was not super present.”

The source also noted that Britney’s social media activity would raise a lot of questions for many, seeing that Asghari would not appear in a majority of videos with some assuming he was behind the camera. 

The source went on to say, “You only have to ask, where was he when Britney was filming all her Instagram videos? He would just disappear for months to go filming and she would be left all alone.”

The insider also echoed the reports that the marriage had been on the rocks for quite some time. The source also went on to say that the divorce was in the works for the past month. Since the announcement, both Asghari and Spears returned to social media with Sam issuing a statement to the public on Thursday. 

As for Britney, the star did not directly speak on the split but later mentioned it three days later on social media. She told fans she could not take the pain anymore and has been trying to “play it strong for way too long.”
