Shane Dawson Reveals Third Palette was in the Works Before Getting Cancelled in New YouTube Video

Apparently Shane Dawson was supposed to come out with a third palette.

Shane Dawson just dropped a video on his YouTube channel that is throwing everyone for a loop. The video not only features Jeffree Star but is also 53 minutes long. Here’s what you need to know.

Shane Dawson released his latest YouTube docuseries The Cancelled World of Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson. The first episode details what Shane Dawson is up to at the moment and even details where he has been over the last two years.

Shane Dawson has been laying low on the internet. He has been creating content online with his podcast but viewers did not get any of the docuseries type content they had been craving.

And as many people were aware, Shane Dawson had released collections like “Conspiracy” and the “Mini Controversy” palettes alongside Jeffree Star. But what many did not know was that there was a third palette in the works.

And Shane shows viewers that this was completely scrapped due to Shane’s cancellation online due to his past offensive videos and comments.

Shane explains in the video “Me and Jeffree were going to do another palette, we literally made it, […] We don’t have the finished packaging but we have the actual palette.”

Shane even teased fans that he actually had the palette and asked Jeffree Star if it was okay to show it on camera.

Jeffree responded stating, “To answer your question, yes of course you can. […] The irony of it all, the name of it, everything is just nuts. It wasn’t just a name, there’s so many double entendres and it’s so crazy looking back.”

Throughout the video we even see some of the shades that Shane had picked out throughout this new project.

Shane stated there were shades like a shimmery black called “Cancer” and even a pale lilac color titled “Scorpio”, which are both the astrology signs of Star and Dawson. There were reds, browns, golds, and nudes which were even similar to Jeffree Star’s Blood Sugar Shades. Other parts of this massive video even include Shane Dawson clapping back at the fact that the palettes were only made as a money grab scheme.

The debut has mixed reactions online.

Looking back at previous videos, Shane even mentions how he overhypes money the aspect of creating a palette.

He stated, “The truth of it is that I did not make anywhere near what people think I made […] People think I made $10 or $20 million dollars from it. I did not.”

According to Shane Dawson, the palette made roughly $30 million dollars. Yet, after the cost of production being around $20 million dollars, Shane only got roughly 25% of the remaining and gave 25% to his former editor Andrew Siwicki.

As of right now we are expecting to see a second and third episode which will detail the exact name and maybe other details of his life during his cancellation.

But until then, this video continues to rack up views. And fans can even still purchase the previous palettes made by Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson.
