Rita Ora Slams “Ridiculous” Rumor of Taika Waititi and Tessa Thompson Throuple

Rita Ora just said that she was NOT in a throuple with Taika Waititi and Tessa Thompson after the 2021 viral photos that surfaced of the trio. The star just shut down this “ridiculous” rumor that had been going on for quite some time. 

Back in 2021 Rita Ora was spotted in Australia where both Taika and Tessa were seen filming the hit movie Thor: Love and Thunder. And yes, The media went wild when Rita Ora was spotted chatting and smoking for four hours with the both of the actors. And yes we agree that is a lot of time for just some chatting.

Many people online saw photos of the group kissing one another and everyone really thought they were an official throuple or soon to be throuple? 

And on the internet, everyone believed this. On Twitter, one person said “taika watiti tessa thompson and rita ora are a throuple? i feel like i missed a chapter” and users in the thread was REAL confused. 

But Ora did say that one good thing came from this? The “I Will Never Let You Down” singer  stated “The good news though, is that when I was on Twitter talking to my fans, all of my incredible LGBTQIA+ fanbases were like, actually – whether this is true or not – I’m so inspired that this is being normalized publicly,”

About two weeks after the photos went viral, Taika let everyone know if he was ever actually bothered about the situation. As for if he was upset when they came out, he stated “Not really,” […] “I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick. And also, ‘Is it that big a deal?’ No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It’s fine.”

As for Rita Ora’s latest comments on the situation, let’s just say she has a different POV. In an interview with GQ Hype for the latest cover story released on January 23rd she said “I just chose to not acknowledge that because it’s ridiculous,” […] “I think when some things are so absurd, and it’s hard to fathom any sense of it, you just have to ignore it. I’ve taken that approach for a lot of things, because you don’t want to put energy towards something that’s nonexistent. It’s like trying to explain something that didn’t happen means you’re feeding into nothing.” 

The “Black Widow” singer also went on to say “Literally – that [photo] was just a bunch of friends having a good time. They had a crazy schedule and everyone was letting loose. I love that. Each to their own.”

Sources from Marvel Studios later stated that Taika’s reputation is known for being a ‘party animal’ and the executives at Disney were let’s just say not so happy about this situation. The representatives even said that these photos crossed the line.
