The event has had a wide range of talent host, but the of the Streamys this year will be MattPatt, an American YouTuber with multiple channels, most known for The Game Theorists.

Up first, and a surprise to few, the creator with the most nominations is none other than Mr. Beast. The internet star has earned a total of five nominations, for Creator of the Year, Collaboration, Creator for Social Good, and Creator Product. Beast’s Feastables project also earned a Streamys Brand Award nomination for the Brand Engagement award.

Logan Paul’s energy drink, PRIME, was also nominated for the Brand Engagement award, despite recent controversy surrounding the brand’s energy drink and marketing.

The other notable nominees for Creators of the Year include TikTok It girl Alix Earle, TikTok dancer and vlogger Charli D’Amelio, TikTok makeup guru Mikayla Nogueira, and and last but not least, master of video illusions, Zach King.

The Breakout Creator of the Year award has proved incredibly influential when it comes to creator notoriety in prior years. Past winners of the Breakout Creator award include Mr. Beast, Liza Koshy, and Emma Chamberlain. All three of these past winners have gone on to build major careers for themselves. The internet stars have hosted game shows, met celebrities, and been guests at the Met Gala collectively.

A notable creator up for the award this year, is trans TikToker Dylan Mulvaney. Mulvaney’s nomination marks a huge win for trans visibility. The star has been breaking down barriers for fellow trans creators as she documents her transition to “girlhood” for millions of followers.

Fellow TikToker and podcaster Drew Afualo was also nominated for Breakout Creator of the Year. Afualo built her audience roasting misogynistic TikTokers, and used the momentum to launch multiple podcasts.

The internet has also become a rival to streaming titans and TV with popular shows. Nominees for the best internet show of the year include drag queens Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova’s talk show UNHhhh.

Other shows nominated include Anthony Padilla’s ‘I Spent a Day With’ series, the wing eating phenomenon Hot Ones, and YouTube veteran Rhett and Link for Good Mythical morning.

To see the rest of the nominations be sure to check out the Streamys on social media, and stay tuned for the awards ceremony taking place on August 27th.
