More Old Videos of Hailey Bieber Allegedly Shading Other Women Surface on TikTok

Model and skincare entrepreneur Hailey Bieber has continuously found herself in the hot seat over the past few months. From alleged cultural appropriation over the “brownie glazed lips” trend that she started on TikTok this fall to several social media posts that fans felt were shading her husband’s long time ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, her many controversial moves keep sparking conversation.

A recently resurfaced clip of Bieber making a disgusted facial expression when Taylor Swift was mentioned was the latest to go viral. Actress, musician, and now makeup entrepreneur Selena Gomez was previously in a highly publicized relationship with Justin Bieber for several years. A few months after their breakup, Bieber married his now wife, Hailey Baldwin. Gomez has remained quiet about the situation for years, and only recently discussed her relationship with Bieber’s toll on her mental health in her documentary My Mind and Me.

Gomez was quick to defend Swift, as the pair are long time close friends.

While the pair have attempted to bury the hatchet that fans had placed on them multiple times, new clips and mysterious hints on Bieber’s social media keep adding fuel to the fire. Following the release of Gomez’ documentary, which revealed her diagnosis with bipolar disorder and discussed her previous struggles with mental health and lupus, Bieber posted a video alongside Kendall Jenner and Justine Skye lip synching to an audio that said “god’s timing is always right.”

The video was quickly deleted after is sparked online backlash about its perceived insensitivity to the vulnerability of Gomez’ documentary. This all came after Bieber and Gomez posed for a photo together at the annual gala for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in October 2022. The photo was praised for its positive underlying message of women supporting women. Many Gomez fans and onlookers alike feel that Bieber continued to instigate the situation long after the pair appeared to publicly make amends at this event.

Shortly before the pair posed for the photo, Bieber appeared on Alex Cooper’s popular Call Her Daddy podcast, where her comments first turned heads about the Selena Gomez situation.  Commenters felt that the release of the podcast episode just before Gomez’ documentary drop came across as “calculating.”

After years of walking on eggshells surrounding the press attention that has surrounded Justin Bieber’s relationships with both Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber, the events of the past few months have made everything come to a head. Selena Gomez has remained focused on her own career, starring in Only Murders in the Building on Hulu, producing her documentary, releasing music, and founding Rare Beauty. Fans feel that Gomez is in the right for finally sticking up for herself amid the media circus that they feel Bieber continues to perpetrate.

Others feel that both women should just continue to ignore the continued digs at one another, as they appeared to move past it months ago.
