The actress famously became the first Asian woman to win Best Actress at the Oscars. Her win marks a huge step towards inclusivity from the Academy, and Yeoh continues to uplift Asian voices. She recently brought her Oscars statue to her native Malaysia, where she stated that she hopes to help other young talent make their way to Hollywood.
