Kylie Jenner Traveled AGAIN And People Are Over It

Kylie Jenner is facing major backlash after posting several pictures in France on Saturday. One person commented on one of  Kylie’s Instagram posts, “Is the pandemic over for rich people?”

The California state government has advised its residents to avoid traveling and to stay home as much as possible to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This non-essential travel ban has been in effect for months. Meanwhile, the number of Coronavirus cases in Paris are beginning to rise again. This has many people wondering how Kylie Jenner was allowed to travel there in the first place.

A user on Twitter noted the reality star did not self-isolate for two weeks, which the French government has advised to all individuals traveling to France from other countries.

Can’t help but think that Kylie Jenner isn’t quarantining for 14 days in Paris having traveled from the states but I forgot if you’re rich and wish hard enough the virus just doesn’t apply to you!!!! pic.twitter.com/zoJJY4hl8l

Shortly after posting her trip on Instagram, the comments came flooding in.

One user felt uneasy over Jenner’s travel knowing people are unable to do the same or even visit their own families in a time of need.

Another user pointed out Kylie Jenner’s privilege of traveling while some families can’t even attend family funerals.

According to an E! News report, an anonymous source explained that the reality star had a “business exception” because she was meeting with Peter Harf, CEO of the parent company to her makeup brand, Coty, Inc. The headquarters of the company is located in Paris.”

The report from E! continued by saying, “she had meetings for her cosmetics brand and brought friends along to make a trip out of it.”

People are questioning whether or not this trip to Paris was actually for business after Kylie posted on her Instagram stories as she was touring the Louvre Museum with friends. She also posted pictures as she was shopping. Just what every business trip needs- a ‘gram from the Louis Vuitton store!

Many users are mentioning the #LoveIsEssential and #LoveIsNotTourism movement.

Its considered essential for Kylie Jenner to vacay in Paris. Its NOT considered essential to go to your spouses FUNERAL, attend your own WEDDING, experience your childs BIRTH, to say a final good bye to your mom. Wow. Bureaucracy and corruption are real, folks. #LoveIsEssential

The #LoveIsNotTourism movement was created for international couples and families who haven’t seen each other for months due to COVID-19. Many celebrities have been able to continue traveling while others can’t see their loved ones. People want to be allowed to see their loved ones while continuing to practice the appropriate safety regulations.

Other people aren’t surprised by the hate Jenner is receiving.

California’s COVID-19 site states that travel is permitted if it is necessary for work or an urgent matter. Even if Jenner was allowed to travel to Paris for business, her friends may not have been. This isn’t the first time the Kardashian-Jenner family has received backlash for traveling. In May, the family traveled to Wyoming to celebrate North West’s birthday. In July, the beauty mogul and her sister Kendall Jenner went on a luxury vacation with their friends at the Amangiri resort in Canyon Point, Utah. They did not appear to be wearing masks around each other which is something many states including California recommend to people from different households.

AND THEN earlier this month, the Kardashian-Jenner family posted several pictures in Turks and Caicos while celebrating Jenner’s 23rd birthday. Many people are offended by her lack of social distancing as well as not wearing a mask.

Kylie Jenner is not the only celebrity traveling during the pandemic. Many celebrities have been able to travel all over the world while most of us are staying home. Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe made a surprise visit to Canada to visit his girlfriend Jaime Landry. Pop Star Dua Lipa took a trip to St. Lucia where they have little to no cases.

Drake flew his private jet to have a nice vacation in Barbados. One of the first celebrities to test positive for COVID-19, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, have left the United States and may not be coming back at all. The couple has actually now officially become Greek citizens. So it appears that a lot of celebrities do not seem to be worried about the pandemic at all.

Other celebrities make sure to promote following the CDC guidelines that everyone should follow but showing they are no exception. The Honest Company founder, Jessica Alba took some time away with her family. They took a trip to Wyoming where they spent time with nature doing guided boat tours, bike rides, and hikes. Alba posted several pictures on her Instagram of her family while wearing masks on their trip. She highlighted some of the steps they were taking to make sure they were staying safe while on her trip using the #youractionssavelives.

Kylie Jenner is back home in California but many people think it won’t be long until her next trip. Does anyone want to place bets on where she goes next? Who else thinks it’s unfair and unsafe that she is traveling so much?
