Jeffree Star’s makeup is now being sold in TJ Maxx and doesn’t get 1 million views anymore
Jeffree Star has focused on his makeup career and getting to the top for more than a decade now. Although he managed to grow his social media platform and net worth, he has made enemies throughout his journey. Jeffree has an intense personality which has led to people hating him. 2020 has been Jeffree’s year of scandals, but it seems like is paying his due now.
Lately, Jeffree’s makeup business hasn’t gone the way he wanted it to. His latest makeup collection hasn’t sold out and prices of some of his makeup palettes are being sold at TJ Maxx for reduced prices. TJ Maxx is a retail chain store which resells outdated and undersold makeup and more. What goes around, comes around. Jeffree has mocked other beauty entrepreneurs for their product being sold at stores like TJ Maxx. Not to mention he mocked his own ex best friend, Kat Von D, for having her products sold at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Jeffree tweeted back in December 2018 “KVD will be a TJ MAXXX exclusive in 2019 I heard!!” He attached a photo of Kat Von D’s palette at Marshalls and added “CAN’T RELATE. AT. ALL.” The photo no longer appears.
Looks like he spoke too soon considering he’s going through the same path. As people started seeing his palettes at TJ Maxx, they started posting evidence. “TODAY IN “WHO COULD’VE SEEN THAT COMING?”: Jeffree Star and Shane Dawson’s Conspiracy Palette being delivered in bulk to TJ Maxx stores, according to this viral TikTok. Other Jeffree Star palettes appear to be shipping to TJ Maxx as well.”

The person who posted the video is known as “onlymarenkaa” on TikTok.
According to the Insider, Jeffree made a video back in February 2019 about his makeup launching at TJ Maxx. “In today’s video, I’m so scared,” Jeffree said. “This is probably going to be the scariest video on my channel. Today, we’re going to TJ Maxx.” Jeffree stated how he hasn’t been to TJ Maxx in ten years. He went down memory lane saying he used to be covered in clothes from Ross. Which of course it’s nothing to be ashamed of.

“I’ve heard a few rumors from some friends of mine, that TJ Maxx is where all my ex friends go to die,” Jeffree said. Wow. His reputation has sure caught up to him. People began hating on Jeffree after realizing how he puts others down.

Shane Dawson who collaborated with Jeffree faced the consequences for their past comments. During the summer, the duo had a problematic behavior commenting unnecessary things to others. In fact, beauty influencer, Tati Westbrook, accused the duo of manipulating her into attacking James Charles of predatory behavior in 2019. Jeffree called James a “danger to society” and a “predator.” In August, Jeffree apologized to James but people think his apology wasn’t sincere. All of Jeffree’s past has backlashed at him and hasn’t been looked at positively.
In June, Morphe removed the Conspiracy Collection and cut all ties with Jeffree Star a month after. The cause of this was for the actions of Shane who was held accountable for using blackface as he said the N-word and joked about pedophilia.
Morphe released a statement that read the following:
“Today we’ve made the decision to cease all commercial activity related to Jeffree Star and affiliated products. We expect this to conclude within the coming weeks. As we look to the future, we will continue to share updates on what lies ahead for the Morphe brand.”

Adding on to Jeffree’s “tragedy,” critics noticed that his engagement on social media has gone down. His most recent YouTube video from November 15 with drag queen India Ferrah has less than one million views. The last time Jeffree had a low amount of views on his videos was back in 2016. Jeffree had his moment of spotlight where everything was working perfectly for him but things changed.
Ferrah even announced the collaboration on Twitter and received many negative comments.
TODAY IN “WHO COULD’VE SEEN THAT COMING?”: Some Jeffree Star fans noticed his latest video is getting way less views than usual for his channel. Even on Instagram, Jeffree has gone down. Although he has 14.3 million followers, he has not received 1 million likes since September 2.
A far from all the crictism Jeffree has received for many of his actions, he decided to clear a few things. Twitter user quote tweeted: BREAKING NEWS THAT WILL MOST DEFINITELY CHANGE YOUR LIFE: Jeffree Star addresses all the criticism he got on his last video. Many people were saying Jeffree had turned into a QVC ad. Others compared Jeffree to Jaclyn Hill, saying Jeffree was only using content to push product.
