FBI Raids Jake Paul’s Calabasas Mansion

Jake Paul is making headlines again. Except this time, the FBI and a SWAT team are involved. On Wednesday, August 6th, an FBI spokesperson confirmed that the FBI had conducted a search at Jake Paul’s mansion in Calabasas, California. The police believe that Jake Paul had committed “criminal acts” at an Arizona mall in May. On top of the search in Paul’s house, the police also obtained and executed a federal search warrant at the “Graffiti Mansion.” The Instagram-famous Barbie mansion is owned by influencer Arman Izadi, who has a close relationship with Jake Paul.

Prior to the search, the Youtuber was charged with “criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly” at an Arizona mall. Video footage shows that Paul was present with a group of friends at the Scottsdale Fashion Square during a riot looting. According to the Scottsdale Police Department, “Paul was present after the protest was declared an unlawful assembly and the rioters were ordered to leave the area by the police.” However, he “entered and remained inside of the mall when it was closed.”

Later, Jake Paul denied his participation in the looting. He posted a statement on Twitter, saying that they “filmed everything [they] saw in an effort to share [their] experience and bring more attention to the anger felt in every neighborhood [they] traveled through.” He added, “we were strictly documenting.”

At this time, the FBI refused to give the media more information regarding the ongoing investigation. However, pictures show the FBI finding and removing firearms from Jake’s house. As Paul’s lawyer, Richard A. Schonfeld told the KSNV News that “we understand that a search warrant was executed at Jake’s Calabasas home this morning while Jake was out-of-state. We are still gathering information and will cooperate with the investigation.”

Other than looting the Arizona mall, Jake was recently condemned for holding a massive party at his house despite the state law and the concerning pandemic. Supermodel Gigi Hadid actively called out Jake Paul and his ignorance.

It is so mature to have a house party with a massive group of people to film a music video while a pandemic is going on, killing people…murder is so mature!! You go BROTHA

Since the FBI hasn’t announced any reasons why they searched Jake Paul’s house, people had mixed reactions to the search. Some people referred to this as bad policing, while others said the FBI should’ve investigated Paul’s house a while back.

My neighbors sure are interesting. https://t.co/OOTJfx0H6A
