This First Grader Convinced Old Navy To Put Real Pockets On Girls Jeans
A long aged battle with girls jeans has been the fact that the pockets are not big enough, or even real in most cases. That is until first grader Kamryn Gardner came along with a request to Old Navy.
The first grader from Arkansas, whose class recently learned how to write persuasive letters, decided she no longer will accept the fake pockets anymore, therefore writing to Old Navy about the issue.
“Dear Old Navy,” Gardner wrote. “I do not like that the front pockets of the girls jeans are fake. I want front pockets because I want to put my hands in them. I also would like to put things in them. Would you consider making girls jeans with front pockets that are not fake. Thank you for reading my request.”
The company was quick to respond with a letter to the seven-year-old for her very convincing request along with a fun surprise.
“Thank you so much for taking the time to write us about pockets on girl’s jeans,” Old Navy replied. “The Old Navy kids product team appreciate your information. It’s great feedback for us as we develop new product.”
Bentonville Schools published the accomplishment onto their Facebook page along with a picture of Kamryn smiling with the now pocketed jeans she received.
