Ezra Miller Issues Apology for Past Behavior Amidst the Flash Controversy but the Internet Isn’t Buying It

Just when we thought we wouldn’t hear from star Ezra Miller, the actor has issued an apology. This comes just after “The Flash” was potentially going to get the ax after all of the controversy surrounding the title and its cast. 

When we thought we would hear about Ezra Miller next, we thought it would be like the other incidents we have seen in headlines over the past few months. Instead, the actor has come clean and stated they are seeking treatment for “complex mental health issues.” In a statement provided to Variety Miller broke their silence about the behavior that has been in numerous tabloids over the course of 2022. 

In case you are unfamiliar with some of these incidents, some of the stars troubled behavior has not only been in the US but also abroad. 

In terms of recent news, Miller has recently been charged with felony burglary in the state of Vermont. Police and state officials were investigating an incident with “The Flash” star after multiple bottles of alcohol were taken from a home while the owners were not present. 

According to a Rolling Stone investigation back in June, Miller was apparently housing a 25-year-old mother and her three children at the actor’s home in Stamford Vermont. In addition, there were multiple issues on the property including an unlicensed cannabis farm and even several firearms found present on the property. 

Allegedly one of the children who was one years old was even found with a loose bullet in their mouth.

Other recent run ins and scandals from Ezra Miller, who is only 27, include being arrested twice in Hawaii in the spring of 2020 for disorderly conduct and the other being a second-degree assault. Miller faces several allegations of abuse from other women across the world from choking a woman at a bar in Iceland and harassing a woman in her home in Berlin. The woman in the bar had pointed out some scars on the actor and said they could take on Ezra in a fight, and that’s when the two went at it. 

The woman in Berlin stated that the two were friends as well, but when she stated that the actor could not smoke in her home, that’s when something flipped. The star was asked to leave nearly twenty times after insulting the woman repeatedly, and after roughly half an hour she convinced Miller to leave once she called the police. 

People online have even found Ezra Miller in public and confronted the actor on camera. 

With the caption “I just wanted a picture dawg” one user ran into the star in what appears to be a grocery store. 

Of course, the series of incidents has put the actor at risk for any future work in their career, especially after many titles were axed from Warner Bros. Discovery. Fans on Twitter were even pointing out the uphill battle the media giant had for its title “The Flash”. 

One tweet from Culture Crave mentioned the options on Twitter stating: Ezra Miller giving an interview explaining their erratic behavior and does limited press, Miller not playing in the film’s promotion and their role is recast or even the film getting scrapped completely.

In the now viral post that many were waiting for, Ezra Miller has issued an apology. They stated “I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe, and productive state in my life.”

However, not everyone on the internet is buying this. The Flash is scheduled to hit theaters on June 23rd, 2023 though controversy has not stayed clear from this title.
