The Met Gala hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art annually since 1948, has since become a cultural phenomena globally. Now hosted by Vogue since 1995, longtime Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour famously chooses a unique high fashion theme for the night. Every spring, the most important figures in fashion and entertainment unite in support for fundraising for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The 2023 Met Gala theme is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” The late designer, who was a personal friend of Wintour’s, passed away in 2019.
Season Two of “Monster” From Netflix and Ryan Murphy To Focus on The Menendez Brothers

The controversial Netflix collaboration with writer-director Ryan Murphy, "Monster," was recently renewed for a second season. The second season will focus on the Menendez brothers’ murders. The brothers were convicted in 1996 of murdering their parents in 1989. The crime was allegedly motivated by their father’s sexual abuse and their mother’s approval of it.
Women Defend Dylan Mulvaney’s EOS Shaving Cream Ad

TikTok creator Dylan Mulvaney was featured in a recent ad for skincare brand EOS, specifically for shaving cream. Mulvaney, a transgender actress and digital creator, rapidly rose to prominence online for her “days of girlhood” series documenting her transitioning experiences. After fellow digital creator Oli London criticized the advertisement’s inclusion of Mulvaney, arguing that women should not have facial hair. Women were quick to defend the actor turned digital creator in the comments, explaining the slew of different reasons that any woman can grow facial hair.
