Dixie D’Amelio is catching heat for making a TikTok dancing to Trisha Paytas saying the N-word

Dixie D’Amelio faces backlash after making a TikTok dance to Trisha Paytas saying the N-word. 

To go back a little, a clip from a D’Amelio Family video went viral last week showing Charli complaining that she hasn’t reached 100 million followers. In addition to that, another video viral of Dixie disgusted by the snails in her food.

Dixie responded, saying that she’s a picky eater and the snails were a bit for the video that their chef and her team were in on from the beginning.

People all over the Internet didn’t take this lightly, as they found both girls being extremely rude to their chef and for Charli being ungrateful for more than 90 million fans she already has. Charli lost about 500,000 followers on TikTok.

James Charles was part of the D’Amelios family dinner and he responded to Charli wanting 100 million followers. Charli said: “Ugh, I just wish I had more time because imagine if I hit 100 mil one year after hitting a mil.” James jokingly responds “Was the 95M not enough for you?”

Charli responded on Instagram Live and mentioned that people were sending hateful comments and said that she wasn’t sure if she could keep doing social media anymore.

“Some people are getting involved just to get involved,” Charli said. “Trisha Paytas… you have been completly rude to me multiple times. Saying I’m ‘She doesn’t have a personality, She can’t dance, She’s basic.’ Like you have your own problems please stop worrying about mine,” Charli added.

Even then, some people still weren’t having it, especially Trisha Paytas. She’s made multiple videos and tweets over the past few days criticizing the D’Amelios for their behavior. Trisha went off after James Charles defended the D’Amelios.

Definitely have always said no one deserves to be cancelled. Everyone has room for growth/positive influence. Except James Charles. Please cancel him. He a forever victim with a superiority conflict, has never said sorry his whole life/hangs out with an underage girl regularly

In an attempt to clap back at Trisha for calling her family out, Dixie took charge into her own hands. Dixie posted a video where she was dancing to Trisha said the N-word while singing NWA’s ‘F the Police’. She captioned her video, “I couldn’t find the sound for this dance so I chose a random one. Hope that’s okay!! Anyways let’s get back to the RENEGADE!!”

Viewers were not supporting Dixie’s dance. Twitter user commented “something about this white woman dancing to a white person saying a slur isn’t sitting right with me.” While others understood that she was just calling Trisha out by jokingly dancing to her audio.

People looked back at who she hang out with and aren’t surprise since Lil Huddy also said the N-word before. “And she and James are acting like they don’t hang out with lil huddy who also said the n word. They only care because someone they didn’t like said it. Black people’s trauma would not be a joke or some clap back dance. I hate all of these influencers,” Twitter user commented.

Trisha replied to Dixie’s dance, “I said this 10 years ago and have since apologized numerous times; u danced and smiled to it YESTERDAY! where’s ur apology ?? Not cool in 2020 girl.”

People were trying to get Trisha to stop harassing someone half her age.

Of course, Dixie was called out for her inappropriate actions. Dixie removed the video from her TikTok account after all the backlash she received. Later, she apologized for her “dumb and tone deaf” response. On Twitter, Dixie said, “I posted a TikTok with the intention of making a point that didn’t need to be made. I took it down and I sincerely apologize for posting it in the first place and I am so thankful for everyone. I’m wishing you all a great weekend and thank you again for the love and support.”

People don’t want Dixie getting away with her racist actions just because she’s young. Using an audio with the n-word is still as offensive to some as if she were to say it.

Why are people pretending that Dixie D’Amelio is a good person? Giving her a pass because she’s young. She’s 19, young people make mistakes but it’s literally not hard to be a decent person. Dancing to an audio of someone saying n word makes you just as shitty.

On the other hand, people were defending Dixie and were proud of her owning up to her mistakes and apologizing.

Some felt bad for Dixie. They were even upset due to the fact that Trisha is much older and should know better.

Whether you use the n-word or have it in an audio it can still be offensive to some. Trisha isn’t in the clear for saying it and Dixie isn’t justified for using it as a serve.
