Disneyland Letting In ALCOHOL Into STAR WARS THEME PARKS

Since Disneyland opened its doors 63 years ago, not a drop of alcohol has been sold on site. Well, that is apart from Disney’s top secret (but not so much a secret anymore) bar, Club 33, which does sell cups of the good stuff. However, Disney have noticed a market that they are not targeting, and how much money they could earn if they began to sell alcohol.

As it is, Disneyland is the most magical place on earth, and I’m pretty sure many people of an adult age would see this too if they were a few cocktails deep. In 2019, starting in Star Wars Land, Oga’s Cantina bar will be opening, and it will sell themed cocktails and other alcoholic beverages. Although a list of drinks available has not yet been released, we’re sure there will be a cocktail called the ‘Yoda.’ Can you imagine? Green apple flavoured cocktail with so much vodka, that you wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between Han Solo and R2-D2. Anyway…

However, not everybody is liking the idea of alcohol being sold on site. Disneyland is meant to be a place where everybody can enjoy themselves, and I’m pretty sure families aren’t going to want to see people stumbling around after many cocktails onto rides and causing any drama.

I try not to complain *too* much, but truth be told, I was never wild about Star Wars Land going in Disneyland. It made no sense. But I tried to make the best of it, cuz, what else can I do, lol. Now that the alcohol rumor's been confirmed, I am considerably less cool with it :/

Walt Disney famously didn’t want alcohol to be served at Disneyland. That’s why Disneyland has never served it publicly. Club 33 is private so doesn’t really count.

I hate alcohol. I love Disney Parks.

Historically Disney Parks have kept alcohol under control but in recent years it's getting worse.

The last thing I want to see is some drunk asshole stumbling around The Magic Kingdom. https://t.co/tyK1yu75BH

Although Walt Disney wanted the park to be dry for this reason, we know he would make a few changes for the modern world if he saw how much better things are after a margarita…or two…

This feels like the wrong photo for this headline. Like the gang is so excited they can finally go to a bar nearby to get sloshed. pic.twitter.com/tcXLpWzGrv
