дерьмо! Beer is About to Become Extinct in Russia!

We’re only 6 days into the 2018 World Cup, and with companies like Budweiser being one of the many sponsors for this year’s worldwide football event, it has only proven that beer is one of the most popular drinks amongst football fans, and the increased demand has meant that restaurants and bars across the host country, Russia, are beginning to run out of the liquid gold and people are either very angry or finding this absolutely hilarious!
Of all the worst things that could happen at the World Cup, running out of beer has to be the dumbest thing. "Its soccer fans. Of course they'll have enough beer!"

Not even a full week into the World Cup and Moscow is already running low on beer supplies. Soccer really is the beautiful game

So Moscow has run out of beer 5 days into the World Cup. Nice. pic.twitter.com/wuShfiVRRH

Although Russia appeared prepared for this event, which is going on for six whole weeks, they didn’t seem to consider how much beer football fans consume, which is a lot, and it has come as quite a shock to many restaurant and bar owners in the capital, Moscow.

KEG CRISIS: With the World Cup in full swing Russia’s bars are running critically low on one important item… BEER! pic.twitter.com/iqNzVWaPLL

If they need a little heads up as to how much beer people are drinking, Twitter user @darrenrovell shared a photo of the eight beers he purchased that probably went down within a few minutes. Go hard or go home, right?

Some people have even mentioned switching to vodka, which I don’t know about you, but after one drink of vodka I’m either grinding against the bar or passed out on the toilet. But, then again, this is Russia we’re talking about and they are the home of vodka, so I think they’ll be able to handle it better than I can…
Due to the #WorldCup, several bars and restaurants in Moscow say they are running low on beer. One word: Vodka!

WORLD CUP DRAMA!! They might run out of beer!! Russia didn't calculate how much beer they would need properly, because beer isn't super popular over there, so they might run out because they don't have enough CO2 for the beer taps. Switch to vodka? pic.twitter.com/o24nP5AOuU

But, I don’t really think giving vodka to a bunch rowdy football fans would be the best idea. I mean, have you seen how crazy they get? Perhaps give them a glass of water, and I’m sure they won’t be able to tell the difference!
the waiter at this greek restaurant refers to water as “normal water” and vodka as “special water” and tbh I can really get behind it

If parents don’t know the difference, I’m 100% sure they won’t either.
We really do feel for those in Russia who are going through this very tough time. Our thoughts and prayers are with the football fanatics, and we hope they will be able to survive this tragedy.
