Will.I.Am Teases New Track “Mind Your Business” Featuring Britney Spears
Britney Spears is coming back to music her own way. After her arduous lengthy battle to leave her strict conservatorship, resulting in Spears’ freedom as of fall 2021, the singer married now husband Sam Asghari, and returned to making music on her own terms. The singer collaborated with music legend Elton John on a remix of John’s famous track “Tiny Dancer,” remixed and re-titled as “Hold Me Closer.”
Now, the singer is soon to release a new collaboration. Spears latest track, which features rapper will.i.am, will be released at midnight. The rapper offered kind words about the pop star, telling Billboard that Spears was “an amazing person.” Fans excitedly await the midnight release of the track, and its accompanying music video.
However, a teaser of the song has been subject to mixed reviews. Critics feel that the song is not a stand out pop track. Others feel that the full song will live up to its potential, given the success of the duo’s previous collaboration in 2013 on “Scream & Shout.”
Internet Reactions
Some are looking forward to the feel-good track, and anticipate it becoming one of summer 2023’s biggest hits. Both Spears and will.i.am have created a number of hits throughout the 2000s and 2010s.

Lyrically, the track could be inspired by the social media response to Spears’ post-conservatorship era. The musician continues to post videos of herself dancing and censored nude images on her Instagram account. The social media posts have prompted plenty to question her mental state. As a result of the negative commentary, mental health advocates continue to assert that despite the singer’s newfound freedom, she is likely still working through the decade of trauma of the conservatorship.
Britney definitely has mental health issues, what y'all seem to be unable to grasp is that having mental health struggles does not mean somebody else should be controlling your life like this is the Sims

Elsewhere, conspiracy theorists continue to let their imaginations run wild. The cover image is a photo of Spears from 2003, leading many to suspect that Spears was not actually involved in the track’s production, and that the vocals could even be Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated.

Spears has not posted about the collaboration on her own social media accounts at this time. The lack of posts is further fueling the fire of rumors surrounding the singer’s mental health. Outside of the track, Spears also recently announced she would be releasing a memoir, titled “The Woman In Me.” Longtime fans of the singer are waiting on the book’s release before fully assessing the truth of her freedom.
