Britney Spears Reacts to Threats From Justin Timberlake and Collin Farrell About Her New Book
Britney Spears is not affected by the threats of her former lovers Justin Timberlake and Colin Farrell over her new memoir The Woman In Me.
The “Toxic” singer told Life & Style that she “stands her recollections” when it was revealed that her exes had warned against her publishing any of their secrets.
Timblerlake and Farrell reportedly warned the singer that if she went ahead and aired their secrets, the two would get back on interviews of their own.
But Spears is unfazed with their threats as insider said, “Britney stands by her recollections. She kept detailed diaries.”
“They were all young and stupid and did some wild things in their past that in today’s culture could definitely be considered indefensible and get you canceled,” the insider shared.
The insider shared, “They want Britney to leave the past in the past. If she doesn’t, they have their own stories to tell.”
The two want Spears to also know that her secrets would also be exposed. Saying she is not a “saint,” the actors also would not think twice before making it public if she exposes them in her bombshell autobiography.
“Britney wasn’t a saint, and Justin and Colin say no one twisted her arm,” the insider said. “She has to rethink the collateral damage she’s willing to create with her book because it just might come back to bite her.”
Britney Spears as of late is on the Billboard charts. This week, the singer claims the No. 1 spot on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales ranking with her latest collaboration, “Mind Your Business.” The tune is another duet with the talented frontman of Black Eyed Peas, Will.I.Am.
Spears’ latest feat adds yet another jewel to her crown when it comes to the Billboard rankings, as it marks her fourth No. 1 hit on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart. This winning streak started in 2011 with “Till the World Ends” and was followed by “Scream & Shout,” another collaboration with Will.I.Am, in 2013. Spears once again clinched the top spot just last year with “Hold Me Close,” a duet with the legendary Elton John.
Spears’ memoir is set to be released on October 24, 2023.
