P!nk Slams Back at Twitter Troll Who Calls Her ‘Old’

Aging has a weird and ridiculous stigma surrounding it considering we all hope that it happens to us eventually, right? I mean, getting older means you haven’t died, and that stuff is bad news (at least in my opinion)! Still, it’s an easy way to denigrate someone — especially a woman — and after P!nk, popstar and gender bender of Channing Tatum, was called ‘old’ by a random user with a rude cartoon fish as their avatar, she had the perfect “clap back,” saying that a face with aged lines is a face that’s laughed and lived and she hopes she will look even older in ten years! Ah, beautiful. Let’s make aging naturally a cool, new agey thing (even though it should be a normal living your life thing) just so the media stops being obsessed with these kinds of stories. Come on, you shame people for looking old, and you shame them for trying to look young via plastic surgery — what’s the win here? We’re old! We’re tired!
