Logic Enlists Help From Rick & Morty to Announce Bobby Tarantino II
Rattpack — we were right. When Logic released a slew of singles — “44 More,” “Overnight,” and “Everyday” — back to back to back, we knew he was up to something. And, that something just so happened to be his highly anticipated mixtape, Bobby Tarantino II. Fans have been asking for a follow-up to his 2016 mixtape for quite some time now, so — it is no question why Logic took it there with his announcement. Check it out below —

Yes — that was f*cking Rick & Morty announcing Logic’s new mixtape. I need a moment. The video is a play on the concept of Logic’s second studio album, The Incredible True Story, which follows Quentin Thomas, William Kai, and Thalia on their journey to the planet, Paradise. Like the album, the video opens with Morty suggesting they (Rick & Morty) listen to Logic — to which Rick responds — The question is — what Logic are we talking about here? Well, are we talking about mixtape Logic or album Logic? You see — there’s a difference. I’m in the mood to turn some shit up, Morty. I’m not in the mood for a message about how I can be whatever I want or — equality and everybody and all that shit, alright? I just wanna hear some f*cking — about titties, throwing stacks on some ass. You know, just some good ol’ fucking ATL style club rap, Morty. When Logic released his third studio album, Everybody, what is the one thing we kept hearing? I’ll tell you — “Logic went mainstream. I want the old Logic back.” Well, in my opinion, that’s when fans largely started classifying Logic between “mixtape” or “album.” We all knew he went in on Bobby Tarantino — and we commended him for that — but once “1-800-273-8255” hit it big, fans didn’t know how to act. Many loved the fact that he was using his platform to bring awareness to mental health, and some — just didn’t. Anyway — for Logic to acknowledge the “mixtape” vs. “album” stigma is quite a statement. He clearly hears his fans and has no problem poking fun at himself as seen in the scene above. Aside from the title and release date — March 9th — of Bobby Tarantino II, nothing else has been confirmed. A leaked track list, however, has been floating around the Internet.
