These past few years have seen an incredible number of black representation — both in media and in those who are seen as heroes. From Barry Jenkins’ Moonlight winning the Academy Award for Best Picture, to Black Panther to the 44th President and First Lady of the United States — Barack and Michelle Obama. This is, in particular, inspiring of course to children (like this one who shot a video of himself as Black Panther’s M’Baku) who have a chance to experience these incredible role models. One girl, in particular, went viral for a photo of her looking up at the official presidential portrait of Michelle Obama.

The girl’s name is Parker Curry, and she is two years old. The photo of her looking up at Michelle Obama’s painting went viral instantly and resonated with people for all of the right reasons. Well, Michelle Obama found Parker and, in a now-viral video, had a little dance party with her. It was really sweet! She tweeted about the experience saying —
