Look, you have to understand, any story about somebody getting a new dog, or finding their long lost dog is going to get me to cry, it’s just a cheap shot at this point! Still, nevertheless, I hope you love wiping tears out of eyes because here we go! When Nicole Renae was 10 years old, her grandmother got her a cute little puppy named Chloe. She loved the dog, but unfortunately, when Nicole was 14, her father made her get rid of it because he wanted to work from home and wanted the home to be quieter. It was heartbreaking. Nicole said, “We had no choice. I was just a kid, so I obviously didn’t have any choice in the matter. It was heartbreaking. I didn’t want to get rid of my dog. I just felt so sick and sad about it. I thought I’d never see or hear from her ever again.” Nicole was heartbroken to give the dog to the Humane Society and would call it to see if Chloe found a good home, although the Humane Society could not give her this kind of information. Later, when she had a child of her own, Nicole wanted to adopt a dog to bring the family joy. She saw a Facebook post for a senior dog who needed a home and ended up adopting her based on the fact that she looked so much like her old dog. She was even named Chloe! However, when she came to pick up the dog, the dog immediately recognized Nicole, jumped on her and began licking her, and Nicole realized — this was her Chloe! Microchip testing even confirmed it down the line. Nicole later said: ”I’m so happy to have her back. I get so excited to come home from work to see her each day. Chloe is happy. I think she knows now that she’ll be with me forever.” See, you can’t separate beautiful dog/human friendships! Oh, my heart breaks. It’s beautiful! What do you think though?
