NBC Releases Treasure Trove of Will Ferrell Material Online
Look, who doesn’t love Will Ferrell? He’s one of the most affable, charming and just consistently weird and funny performers, so any time he does a press tour (as he is now for his upcoming hosting stint on Saturday Night Live), we get a treasure trove of new and re-released Will Ferrel material. First up — we have a video of Will Ferrell on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show asking the questions that Fallon will answer in the song “Don’t Stop Believing.” It’s very funny and delightful — one of the better clips from Fallon in recent years.

Then, SNL re-released an odd and absolutely beautiful and brilliant sketch — aired only a month after 9/11 — of Will Ferrell playing an ornery old prospector shipping off to Afghanistan. It’s sort of beautiful how he does something so silly in the backdrop of one of the most conflicted and difficult times in American history.

Lastly, SNL uploaded Will Ferrell’s original SNL audition which includes classics such as Harry Caray and “Get Off The Shed.” Check it out!
