  •  On January 22, Tinder users will start seeing dating profiles of puppies competing in the 2018 Puppy Bowl. This is being done in collaboration with ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in order to prompt donations for shelter pets across the country. Donating will be as simple as swiping right!

  •  For those not on Tinder, donations will also be accepted via text — PUPPY to 707070.  According to the Hollywood Reporter, the collaboration between ASPCA and Tinder is just one of many partnerships that Animal Planet has forged ahead of the Puppy Bowl XIV (airing 12pm PST/3pm EST) on February 4.  The Puppy Bowl — which first aired in 2005 opposite Super Bowl XXXIX — features a variety of cute canines from shelters. While #TeamRuff and #TeamFluff battle it out for the coveted Chew.com “Lombarky” trophy, the two-hour special aims at promoting animal adoption as the puppies are placed into homes after the broadcast.  Do you plan on watching the 2018 Puppy Bowl?
