“It’s Ok to Be White” Movement Explained

  •  A movement has begun that encourages white people that it’s perfectly fine to be white. Apparently, there’s a lil casual movement called “It’s Ok To Be White” going around in which white people who are feeling oppressed get together to just say… hey man. White people are cool too. I don’t know, the whole thing has kind of an alt-righty vibe to it, right? But let’s move on. At the University of Connecticut, conservative political blogger Lucian Wintrich was hired to give an “It’s Okay To Be White” speech. Posters were plastered all over the school, and also taken down… FB group UConn College Republicans posted photos and said, “It is sad that our fellow students at UConn have to take down or modify Lucian Wintrich’s posters because they disagree with free speech and individualism. Don’t worry, we put more up!” Sure, that’s what they disagree with. Barely a minute into the organizer’s speech, he talks about going to a bar with his pal and ordering a drink when a “fat girl” — and before he even finishes his speech, the crowd gets mad at him. Apparently, the organizers of this event get a high off of calling themselves victims. Lucian would try to say something, the crowd would retort in a negative fashion. At one point they started chanting “go home snowflake.” That was until a woman stole his script, Lucian ran after her and grabbed her, and then Lucian got arrested.  Where did this all stem from? Why is Lucian making an “It’s Okay To Be White” speech in the first place? Would you be shooketh to find out it was 4chan? Around Halloween, 4chan devised a plan to post “It’s Okay To Be White” posters on campuses everywhere while they were dressed in Halloween costumes for anonymity. Normies flipped out. The next day came tweets, Reddit posts, etc. of said normies flipping out. Soon, enough people were reporting them to campus police.  The Dean of Harvard Law said the stickers were, “intended to divide us from one another. HLS [Harvard Law School] will not let that happen here. We live, work, teach, and learn together in a community that is stronger, better, and deeper because of our diversity and because we encourage open, respectful, and constructive discourse.” And those 4channers were like, boom! Got ’em. We are getting the left to say that being white isn’t okay. Boo yeah! We are the ultimate masters of the universe. So, that’s the gag. If you engage in anger, they win! That’s what they wanted — for people who believe in equality to counter their point by going against the “It’s Ok To Be White” movement. That’s. The. Gag. So, that’s the “It’s Ok To Be White’ movement explained! What do you think of this? I’m sure you have opinions. Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
