Drake Stops His Show To Call Out Groper in Audience
Drake stopped his show in the middle of a song to call out a man in the audience who was groping women in the crowd. Drake is currently on tour in Australia and New Zealand this month. He was performing at an afterparty at the Marquee nightclub in Sydney, Australia, when he spotted a man in the crowd groping random women. The video of Drake calling out the man was original posted to Instagram by user Louise Sukari, who captioned it — “I got this close to Drake threatening to jump into the crowd to start a fight with a guy groping a woman in the audience. Violence against women, 6 God says no.” After stopping down to show to defend his female fans, Drake eventually starts back up without having to go out into the crowd. Obviously, sexual assault is everywhere in the news. This year many high-profile men, especially in Hollywood, have been accused of sexually assaulting women, sometimes for decades. Many people are praising Drake for speaking out to stop abuse as it is happening.
