Part of Trump’s platform is the idea that he’s the bravest, toughest president who ever done lived because he’s going to shake his fist at Isis or whatever. But time and time again we see him frightened by the oddest things — stairs, SNL impressions, and now we can add a guy in a T-Rex costume to the mix. In a video going viral online, we see President Trump meet trick or treaters. He goes up to an Olaf from Frozen, a skeleton in a MAGA hat (more on that later) until finally he and Melania meet a man in a classic, now memeable dinosaur T-Rex costume. This is what the trouble begins.

Melania engages with the Tyrannosaurus Rex in a friendly way, but Trump seems intimidated by it. With the same anxiety that led him to be unable to look Barack Obama in the eye stopped him from looking this T-Rex in the eye. The president is right to be afraid of this mighty dinosaur.
