So what is it like being the only Latin or Latina person in your office? What’s Trending covers the uniqueness of that in a new sketch. titled “When you are the only Latino Person in the Office”. Things are covered such as the magic of vapor rub, how people in the office don’t want to learn your complex but exciting long name, and the ever decorational power of candles in long jars. They are NOT just for when someone died, okay?? Then there’s the casually obnoxious co-workers, like the kind who think that just because you know Spanish you MUST be from Mexico, or the importance of watching soap operas at work or Face Timing with your enormous family. And what about Senor Frog? Does this guy know Senor Frog? Well, of course he doesn’t. But it doesn’t stop obnoxious white co-workers from asking such questions. Or how you say your coworker’s name in Spanish (it’s so exotic to them). Still, a lovely sketch. And hey, the vapor rub works! What do you think though?
