•  A man in Norway came to a close call after, while recording a lightning storm behind his house, he caught a bolt of lightning hit his back porch. That’s right! The lightning was so close up! The man’s name was Daniel Modøl, and when you watch the video you’ll notice two things — how intense this bolt of lightning truly is and also how charred the remains of his back porch are. Ahhhh! Daniel later went indoors and decided to no longer record the thunderstorm, which we think is a very wonderful idea seeing as I don’t know if humans can survive that.
