  •  Several fights have already broken out at the start of the school year including eight students getting arrested, a stabbing, and a student punching his teacher, all in the first two weeks of the school year. The first started last week at Thurman White Middle School in Las Vegas with a fight that turned violent. A 12 year old female student stabbed 15 year old Ania Becker in the back after an altercation that was allegedly about the older student protecting a younger family member who reportedly fought with the 12 year old. The 12-year-old was charged with battery with a weapon resulting in substantial bodily harm. Ania is reportedly in the hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries. The next fight comes from South Division High School in Milwaukee where a 16 year old student was caught on camera punching his teacher earlier this week. It started as a verbal confrontation, but the student pushed the teacher and then knocked him to the ground where he repeatedly punches his face. This all happens while kids in the background are heard laughing. The teacher suffered non-life threatening injuries and the student was arrested at the school and is facing possible charges of battery. The final brawl is the biggest and happened at Theodore High School in Alabama last night where 11 people, 9 students and 2 former students, were arrested following a fight that broke out in a stairwell. The incident went down at around 11 a.m. when students were changing classes. No one knows what happened that caused this, but fighting down a staircase can only result in bad. When word got out, the school was placed on lockdown. And then dozens of parents arrived to check their kids out early. Guys if people are fighting at your school let’s probably not laugh at anyone involved, or worse get involved yourself. Stay out of it and contact a teacher. Because these days you truly never know what could happen and fights aren’t cool.  Why do you think school fights happened so early in the year?
