This Person Bought a ‘Nothing-Burger’ From McDonald’s
Have you ever ordered a burger and decided to make it TOTALLY plain? I’m talking no bun, no cheese, no beef patty… chances are you haven’t, right? Maybe because you’d literally be eating nothing! Well, Twitter user @Arikuyo recently did just that — she spent 99p on a “nothing-burger” from McDonald’s. But, how exactly was she able to get away with ordering and PAYING for absolutely nothing? I personally haven’t been to McDonald’s in a minute, but it looks like restaurants now have self-order kiosks that give you the option to customize your order. So, Ari did just that.

Can you imagine being a real cashier and having someone order a cheeseburger with no onion, no ketchup, no cheese, no NADA? I’d be incredibly iffy about making them pay for it! I wonder if those who created the kiosk considered the possibility of someone ordering a burger with everything removed… back to the drawing board we go.

Do you think ordering a “nothing-burger” was worth it? Ari might be 99p short, but has an interesting story to tell! Don’t forget to leave a comment and/or tweet us at @WhatsTrending on Twitter!
