Sarahah, a new app, has been at the top of the download charts around the world, giving users the ability to get anonymous feedback from friends and co-workers. Sarahah, which means”candor” or “honesty” in Arabic, was designed as a workplace tool. Sarahah users get anonymous messages. The app is designed to encourage honest feedback and personal growth. The creator says the app is supposed to give people the ability to speak frankly with their bosses. As the App describes itself, “Sarahah helps you in discovering your strengths and areas for improvement by receiving honest feedback from your employees and your friends in a private manner.” So, what happens when someone leaves a bunch of “feedback” that you don’t want? In case someone is making you feel bad with their notes, you can also block users from sending you anything in the future. Many people are worried that Sarahah will be abused by trolls and encourage cyber-bullying, because… duh… But, are people only going to use Sarahah to bully each other? Someone sent a Sarahah message to the creator, asking, “Why did you create Sarahah? It’s just a bullying platform and it pure evil and cruel,” to which he responds, “#Sarahah is a self-development tool that allows people to receive constructive feedback” Bullying, constructive feedback, trolling, internet comments, call it what you want! You’re all getting blocked anyway. Are you interested in trying Sarahah? Have you tried Sarahah? What did you think? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter at @WhatsTrending.
