Kendall and Kylie Jenner Apologize For OFFENSIVE T-Shirt Designs

It’s a bizarre and oddly offensive affair as Kendall and Kylie Jenner released a series of t-shirts where their faces were superimposed over those of famous, sometimes deceased, musicians, and selling them for $125. The stars have superimposed their faces over the likes of Pink Floyd, The Doors, Metallica, Led Zeppelin — and most brazenly and offensively, Tupac and Biggie Smalls.
Fans and people with taste were outraged — as was the estate of Biggie Smalls which released a press release stating they had nothing to do with the t-shirts and were never contacted about the using of Biggie Smalls’ likeness. Biggie Smalls’ mother — Violetta Wallace — had an Instagram post in which she expressed her dismay over the clothing line and the disrespect it showed her late son calling it “exploitation at its worst”.

Kendall Jenner has since released an apology for the t-shirts in a Tweet, saying, amongst other things, that it was not their intent to disrespect the artists and the t-shirts have been pulled from the market.
