The 2017 BET Awards were filled with lots of memorable moments, unforgettable performances, and plenty of explosive confrontations. Some of the biggest beefs in hip-hop and rap were on display at the BET Awards this past Sunday. Migos won for Best Rap Group during the ceremony, and after the show, they had a run in with Chris Brown. According to witnesses, someone in Chris Brown’s crew pushed Quavo, and a friend of Migos jumped into the confrontation and got punched. Chris Brown kept walking, staying out of the fight. Fans have speculated that the fight was over Karrueche Tran, Brown’s ex-girlfriend who is now rumored to be seeing Quavo. Migos and their crew followed Chris Brown and his entourage out to the parking lot, but Brown eventually got into his car without engaging in a fight. Remy Ma also sparked some controversy by reigniting her feud with Nicki Minaj. After winning Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and breaking the 7-year streak held by Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma dissed Nicki in her acceptance speech. With all this tension and excitement at the BET Awards, being in the audience must have been so thrilling! Just ask Bruno Mars, who was seen drifting off to sleep in the crowd. During Mary J. Blige’s performance, Bruno Mars was caught resting his sleepy-looking eyes. This moment lit up social media, almost instantly becoming a meme. The internet kept teasing Bruno Mars for dozing off even after he took home the BET Award for Best R&B/Pop Artist. The biggest moment of the night occurred between Gucci Mane and DJ Khaled’s son, Asahd! Both arrived at the awards show dressed in identical powder blue tuxedos and it was super cute… name a more iconic duo, I DARE YOU. Did you watch the BET Awards?
