Pikachu and Avril Lavigne — Replaced By Imposters!?

Two rumors have been going around the internet, and one is absolute garbage, and the other— well…
First the garbage rumor. This has been a conspiracy theory going on about the internet for quite some time now — that Avril Lavigne has died sometime ago and been replaced by an imposter and look— whatever, that theory is garbage, a lot of it is confused about how eye shadow makes your eyes look different, it’s dumb. We’re not going to give it another thought — but there’s another theory going around online that that is what Nintendo has done to Pikachu! Look at the Tweet above, as Twitter user @RobTrench noticed — Nintendo has been peddling us a different Pikachu than we’ve seen in the beginning. Could it mean — Ash’s Pikachu has been replaced by a doppleganger!? A thinner, curvier doppleganger!? Well, all of Twitter was absolutely and positively alight with anxiety!

Look— who knows what the truth is. After all, we’ve seen the Pikachu deflation video. Nintendo execs can go absolutely mad with when a Pikachu goes rogue or goes flawed — and clearly have no anxiety about replacing them. Them replacing Ash’s Pikachu with another is not out of the question…
