Colbert Unveils Alex Jones Parody Character “Tuck Buckford”
Source: www.youtube.com / Via: www.youtube.com
Colbert revealed his character, Tuck Buckford, as a response to Alex Jones’ shtick — a loudmouthed, obnoxious unbearable pill somehow even more bloviated than Colbert’s classic conservative character. Although today Colbert is known as the rightful king of late night, there once was a time — not too far back — when he was known for his conservative talk show host persona. He has that in common in a way with Alex Jones, who recently, during a bananas custody hearing — revealed that his character was, quote, “performance art”. That he didn’t mean the things he said, they were just a character. Well, Alex Jones may have not meant the things he said, but boy oh boy did he say them — things that included influencing President Trump and promoting both Pizzagate, the insane conspiracy theory that almost resulted in a real shooting, and promoting the wrong and cruel idea that the Newtown shooting was a hoax. Of course, Colbert’s character is meant for entertainment… and Tuck Buckford is that! Tuck Buckford bloviates, shouts and tries to match Alex Jones with the best of them, but how can anyone match Alex Jones’ insanity! The real guy yelled about loving creating children! What are we going to do to top him!? still, it’s a fun character and we can’t wait to see more of him as Alex Jones’ madness itself unravels. What do you think though?
