Green Day Led an Anti-Trump Chant at the AMAs Like a Real Punk Band
Green Day brought the heat last night at the American Music Awards.
The American Music Awards were last night, and Green Day had quite an explosive performance. The punk band played their single “Bang Bang” from their new album Revolution Radio, and spiced up the song with a surprise cover of an Austin, TX band called MDC. They inserted an anti-Trump chant (“No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA!”) to their performance and received a lot of applause in return. The pop crowd didn’t know what hit them, but Twitter sure does. Check it out.

So President-Elect Donald Trump has yet to release a statement on Green Day’s stunt, but assuming he doesn’t approve, here’s proof of a time when he LOVED Green Day…aka 2010.
AND Melania liked it!Source: twitter.com / Via: twitter.com
So I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what he has to Tweet about it, won’t we? Let us know what YOU think in the comments below or @WhatsTrending on Twitter.
