Canadian Parliament Seriously Debated the Use of the Word “Fart”

Canadian Parliament is a strange place. Imagine if the biggest scandal in American Congress in the last year was President Obama accidentally elbowing Paul Ryan. That’s what happened early this year, when Justin Trudeau got in trouble for “bumping” a female MP. Ah, don’t you want to move to Canada? This week, in this Twitter Moment, it was revealed Canadian Parliament recently argued over the word “fart”. Yeah, you read that right. Oh, man. I love Canada so much. Specifically, the issue arose when MP Elizabeth May took issue with MP Michelle Rempel saying the word “fart” during a debate. I mean, MP May, whomever smelt it dealt it. Here are some of the Canadian tweets cutting through the cheese:

I mean, the debate had to sound odd to some of the other MPs. If Justin Trudeau heard about it I’m sure his anger would be silent but deadly. What do you think? Ready to move to Canada? Let us know in the comments or @WhatsTrending on Twitter. Also follow us on Medium.
