Racist JoeySalads YouTube “Social Experiment” Exposed as Fake

  • Source: www.youtube.comJoey Salads, confessing that he lied to everyone.

  •  The last time we checked in with YouTubers Ethan and Hila Klein, AKA h3h3 Productions, they were pulling the mask off of an alleged YouTube gambling scam. In addition to all their funny sketches and commentary on YouTube drama, the Kleins are known for getting into the occasional full-blown YouTube war with fellow creators. They’re truly fearless, despite having been sued once already. Their latest video is no exception.  h3h3 Productions recently uploaded a video criticizing popular YouTube “prankster” JoeySalads for apparently staging his “social experiments.” Here’s the first h3h3 video:

  •  In that video, Ethan Klein rips JoeySalads repeatedly for race-baiting and apparently staging an experiment made to make black Americans look like violent criminals. Though Klein argues that the video is fake — and it certainly looks questionable — there’s no “smoking gun” evidence that puts JoeySalads in his place.  Well, until now. Twitter user @txorres took a series of Snapchats that clearly reveal a recent JoeySalads video — which, curiously, happens again to be racist garbage — to be fake. The original JoeySalads video purported to show what happened when Joey left a car covered in Trump bumper stickers unattended in a black neighborhood, and showed the car getting smashed up by unidentified black men. The problem? According to @txorres’ Snapchats, the “unidentified black men” were actors.  Here’s the video from h3h3 Productions including the Snapchats and taking Joey down a peg or twenty:

  •  Maybe don’t be a racist pile of sh*t next time, Joey? Well, about that. He released an “apology” video (which I won’t embed, but which I will link here in case your morbid curiosity gets the better of you) in which he “explains” the whole thing. According to Joey in the video:  “This is the original video I set out to do. I set out to film this scene, purposely. I wanted to set this scene up, and the purpose of the original video was to get people’s reactions to that scene. Will they join in, will they call the cops, will they try to stop them? And that video actually turned out to be a success. ‘Cause as they were doing the script… people were yelling out the window, “F Trump,” cheering them on to bash it up… “But as I was editing the video, I was like, I could easily make this go a total different direction. And I basically re-edited it to make it look like something else happened that didn’t. And I apologize for that…”   JoeySalads goes on to say, “the video does have some truth to it,” (false), and, “I know you guys aren’t gonna trust me anymore” (true). He also announces his plan to commit felony voter fraud, which he had previously tweeted about:

  •  If you buy that apology, you haven’t seen the original video. In that video, JoeySalads clearly says, “I got a car, I put some Trump apparel on it, and we’re going to park it in a black neighborhood, and see what happens.” There is one brief moment — between “black neighborhood” and “see what happens” — where JoeySalads could have said, “and have a bunch of black actors attack it with pipes and film people’s reactions.” But he doesn’t. And the audio doesn’t exactly sound like anything was cut.  In other words: JoeySalads’ original intention — to fake a race-baiting video to stir up hatred — could not be more obvious. He definitely lied to everyone in the car video, and almost certainly lied to everyone in his confession video and the Black Lives Matter video. Begone, JoeySalads, back to the alt-right corner you crawled out of.  Doesn’t it feel good to see racists get torn down? Let us know in the comments below or @WhatsTrending on Twitter.
