Something Went Down Between Azealia Banks and Russell Crowe
Azealia Banks is possibly the world’s most interesting former Trump supporter. She’s done a lot of unusual things, including getting banned from Twitter for a racist rant against Zayn Malik. Most recently, she got kicked out of a hotel room by the world’s most monotone singer, AKA Russell Crowe. In the week’s least likely beef, Crowe and Banks reportedly had some words — and possibly some violence. According to the New York Daily News, Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA invited Banks to be his plus one at a party at Russell Crowe’s hotel room. Then, the story vastly differs from party to party. Banks stated on her Facebook page: ”To recap my night, I went to a part(y) at Russell Crowe’s suite, at which he called me a n****r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me. Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The men in the room allowed it to happen.” That post has since been deleted. Russell Crowe’s team has not aired anything out on social media yet. But we have another account from TMZ. According to TMZ, witnesses say that Banks was attending a Beverly Hills party with RZA. Witnesses said Banks laughed at Crowe’s music selection and called him and at least one other guest “boring white men”. When she was told to chill, Banks threatened to break her glass, cut guests, and watch them bleed. Crowe removed her himself, and called hotel security, says TMZ. Both are known for previous outbursts, so this could really be anything. Since we made our video on the topic, though, E! Online reports that Banks has filed a police report against Crowe. So whatever happened, it seems the police are going to be tasked with figuring it out. What do you think? Is this a he said/she said or is one of them clearly wrong?
