How It Should Have Ended Takes on the Anti-Logic of ‘Suicide Squad’

How It Should Have Ended, the popular YouTube channel, is taking on Suicide Squad and not holding back. This is their version, which means they provide multiple alternate endings. Most of them are better. This is after Jenny Nicholson presented Amanda Waller’s pitch for Suicide Squad, making it seem as ridiculous as it should have been. The video starts by addressing that (spoiler alert for BvS, in case you for some reason want to see it), Superman died. The whole premise for the Suicide Squad was to stop Superman. But it’s also something Batman could have done. When Waller (Viola Davis in the original movie) shows off Enchantress, she gets stabbed. Which is something that should have happened. Because Enchantress is a villain. And really fast. Then, when Waller attempts to control the Squad, she gets shot. These are villains, after all, and Deadshot’s really good at shooting. He also shoots Waller’s phone so their heads won’t explode. The crew then goes to the Villain Pub, a fixture of the HISHE universe. It’s where all the bad guys gather – Voldemort, Emperor Palpatine, and Loki are the most notable. The crew goes there because they’re villains. But here’s the thing – they’re absolutely not. They save the world, they kill the villain, and the only thing they’ve done wrong is go to jail. What do you think? Are the Suicide Squad the bad guys?
