This Kim K Robbery Halloween Costume is Seriously Awful

  • Costumeish.com is selling this “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit” for just $69.99.Although the “costume kit” doesn’t call Kim Kardashian West by name, the costume description includes very pointed references to her robbery and assault in Paris last weekend.  The description specifically says:   “This Halloween it’s all about the #Hallomeme and who better than America’s goddess of all things glamorous “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume?” She has devoted her life to promoting American decadence, youth, and hedonism but all that flashy living caught up with her one night in Paris when armed men bound her, stole her jewelry and her peace of mind. This Halloween have some fun with pop culture and dress just like the Queen of Social media with our sensational “Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume” Costume. White Short Sexy Robe Long Black Wig “$4 Million Dollar” Ring* Large Sunglasses Fake Gag 2′ of Rope *Costume ring is made of plastic and not worth $4 million dollars. “  Super tasteful right?  The ‘reviews’ section of this costume are blowing up. There are twenty-three pages of reviews, both supporting and slamming the costume…but mostly slamming.  According to BuzzFeed, Costumeish Vice President Johnathon Weeks said he’s “sad” people are offended by the costume, but in the end its not really that big of a deal.  “I’m sad that people are offended by it, but it is Halloween: It’s one day out of the year. Halloween should be a light-hearted, spirited party and people should be able to laugh at it and think it’s funny. We haven’t sold any yet, if that matters,” said Weeks. “If people find it tasteless or they are offended by it, it’s Halloween. Maybe you should just shut your life out and not go outside.”

  • Khloe Kardashian on Ellen this morning.Source: ellendegeneres.comToday also happened to be the day that the Kardashians broke their silence on the Paris incident. Kim’s sister Khloe Kardashian appeared on The Ellen Degeneres Show this morning, and spoke openly about the robbery. Khloe said that Kim is “not doing that well” after her traumatic experience. Great timing, Costumeish!  The Kardashians have not yet publicly commented on the “Parisian Robbery Victim” costume.  What do you think? Is this blatantly disrespectful to assault victims?
