Popular Vlogger Marina Joyce Responds to Fan Concerns She’s in Danger

  • Marina Joyce is a popular beauty vlogger based in the UK. With over a million subscribers and 35 million views on her YouTube channel, plenty of people would be deeply concerned if something bad were to happen to her. According to some concerned fans, something already has. In her latest video, a promotional piece for StyleWe entitled “DATE OUTFIT IDEAS”, she can be seen with bruises on her arms. There’s also a faint whisper about 13 seconds in that some fans are claiming is Marina saying “help me”. We’ve embedded the video below; determine for yourself what she may or may not be saying.

  • After this video’s release, fans panicked. The hashtag #savemarinajoyce trended globally, with over 3 million tweets using the tag being tweeted within the space of only a few days. Fans speculated she was a victim of abuse, suffering from drug addiction or mental illness, or even possibly kidnapped. Adding fuel to the fire was some unusual social media activity on Joyce’s part. One fan tweeted at her, “are u ok? If not then like this tweet.” Joyce liked it:

  • Joyce also made many fans concerned when she tweeted about holding a party in London at 6:30 am:

  • As of this writing, Joyce has live-streamed herself on YouNow twice to answer questions about her well-being. Even so, the hashtag has not died out, with many viewers questioning her behavior or accusing of her of staging the whole thing as a publicity stunt:
