  • In case you haven’t heard, playing music on otherwise extinct computer parts is a pretty widespread phenomenon. But what you might not have heard is just how awesome the creation of this particular track was! Linked together are 64, normally considered dead, floppy drives. Not the small floppy’s either, the long gone large size floppy’s adults my age used to play Oregon Trail off of when we were in school.  Creator Paweł Zadrożniak built what he has called “The Floppotron,” a veritable orchestra of dead electronics. He’s currently taking requests for songs too, so be sure to try and get some of your favorites in there!  For those of us interested in hearing what The Floppotron has performed, well its done the Imperial March from Star Wars, and the main theme from Game of Thrones! What do you want to hear The Floppotron play next?
